I wasn't going into the forest anyway..... buuuut, that's an added incentive to stay away. Since being on diabetic meds I've had increased flatulence.... and believe me, it's NOT funny.
Anyhow, I won't be going down to the woods today... or I'll be sure to give somebody a big surprise.....
....and ruin the teddy bears picnic.
On a serious note: the fires surrounding Athens, Greece are horrendous and hopefully they can be brought under control without further loss of life and property. Then there are the ancient monuments: hopefully they come through unscathed and are there for visitors for centuries to come.
Still little to no respite for those trapped by wild fires in Greece.... https://abcnews.go.com/International/arson-suspected-devastating-greece-fires-killed-79-people/story?id=56807876.
Over 70 people have perished and others are running into the sea to escape the inferno that has engulfed Athens and destroyed hundreds of homes. There are still over a hundred people unaccounted for, so the death toll is likely to go higher.
Hopefully those fighting the blaze can bget it under control soon.
Google Redding California wild fire. It was ten percent contained. Now its less than five percent contained. It jumped a river and authorities are scrambling to evacuate the people.
Yeah, I read about that one as well. Both fires are horrendous and hopefully weather conditions and such will help those battling the blazes to get them under control. Sooner rather than later!
That time of year. Sucks but not too much to do about it.
That's much like the fool doing something completely dangerous and a loved one says: If you go ahead and kill yourself I'll never speak to you again.
And the other one: If you go and get yourself lost, don't come to me expecting that I'll show you the way home.
