A place to keep my work.

Downloaded Z71's new icon pack and it installed just fine but after the latest update to Win10 the buttfugly yellow ones came back. I applied the package twice and it only changed some icons. Note the last icon pack I had applied, Steel Dragon, that sole icon did not change. I now have one Steel Dragon icon, a few from the Office icon pack and the rest buttfugly yellow.

Did the purge and the screenshot below shows the result I got after running the purge the first time then running it again after uninstalling Iconpackager. I'm not going to re install it unless I'm sure its working properly. I've had my share of apps not working as advertised and don't need to add to them. Please find a fix.

Windows 10 Home 17134.rs4_release 180410 - 1804

That also what I get when I look at my Windowblinds About screen. So we are at the same version.

Could that missing .dll be the cause? I did get that error message before I uninstalled it.

I'm not going to re install it unless I'm sure its working properly.

I know of no other way to know if that is the case unless you do re-install, Uvah.

The only thing I would recommend, and because this fixes icon issues (among many others), is to do an SFC scan prior.

That, the sfc scan, I had to do after the latest Win 10 update because my system was going haywire. The sfc scan found and repaired several corrupt files. And I thought the updates were supposed to 'update' the OS, not screw it up. I'll do the reinstall and see what happens. (Not to mention having to reinstall the driver for Realtek audio device because the update took it out).

Reinstalled Iconpackager and applied the office iconpack. It changed all the icons like it was supposed to save one. All office one steel dragon. Above where it says desktop.

Ross, that might actually be an icon cache issue with the Shelf. Try restarting WorkShelf to see if that particular Steel Dragon folder icon remains the same.

Should have read the whole thread before replying.

If you are having problems with that particular icon elsewhere and you have already rebooted (you have, haven't you? lol) then this has nothing to do with the Shelf.

Normally the Shelf will rebuild its internal icon cache when there is a system wide change, but that particular icon could have gotten 'stuck', which is why I suggested restarting WorkShelf.

Restarted Winstep Xtreme and the icon is still there.
