Seems like the only things that are innovative nowadays have the name "Tesla" in them.

I've started saving.... tho the 5th or 6th generation would likely to be out before my great, great, great grandkids could afford it.

I say great, great, great grandkids cos I'll have been gone to that great PC land down below a couple of centuries beforehand.

Truth is, the beast I already have is more than enough power for me.... and right now, I have other priorities that aren't tech.

I still need some furniture items, more rugs/flloor coverings, and some tools to help keep the outside neat and tidy.

I bought one of these yesterday and have already maxed it out.  I'm going to return it for a new refrigerator.

I bought one of these yesterday and have already maxed it out.  I'm going to return it for a new refrigerator.

That's nothing, my nephew traded his in for an electric toothbrush

And his mate maxed his out in about 3 hours and  gave it to the church so he never had to give confession again.

Me, if I maxed it out, I'd probably melt it down and commission an artist to do a life-like sculpture of me from it.

I purchased two.  They are so cool.  My neighbor has miniaturized them for me.  They make the most utterly coolest bookends on my block.

That's nothing!  A friend of mine had his enlarged.  Now he has to wear a jockstrap so's he don't do himself a mischief when he picks it up.

I had mine bronzed.

This thread is really strange...

Maybe this thing is smart enough to replace a politician...

on Apr 10, 2016

Oh please, my asshole is smart enough to replace a politician...

New definition of a politician.

I had mine bronzed.

That's nothing!  My mate had his laquered in stealth paint so nobody knows is there.... or coming to get them.  Skynet, anyone?

psychoak

This thread is really strange...

Nope, the strange threads are those sane ones with some semblance of order and a modicum of composure.

Shoot, a simple calculator is smart enough to replace a politician... not to mention the trusty old abacus.

At least an abacus balances the books better than a politician... not to mention more honestly.

Oh, and what psychoak said.... cos mine arsehole makes more sense and rarely speaks out of turn... unlike butting-in, interrupting politicians, who like to hear the sound of their own voices rather than listen.

New definition of a politician.

Yup..... lying, cheating bag of manure with a self-serving agenda.  Let's hope these electronic ones are better and smell nicer.

on Apr 10, 2016

Now if only we could electronically replace greedy bankers.... ALL bankers.

And real estate agents

Car salesmen

and advertising executives.

Oh wait!  Let's NOT replace advertising executives, we can manage perfectly without them.

on Apr 11, 2016

Bankers are actually not a bad class of people.  The problem is that many societies have basically regulated small community banks out of commission.  Almost everyone banks at a publicly traded chain, both of those facets are a pretty major negative to fair play from a company unless who ever's at the top of the food chain just happens to be a really nice guy for a cut throat corporate shill.
