A place to keep my work.
or...who's got the guts

In keeping with the finest of traditions I attribute to the great skinners of the WC community. I have but a single question. With all the jibe about curried cabbage what would a WB look like if someone would dare make one using the now infamous 'curried cabbage' as a theme. Any takers?

Lookin good Po'ster and yes Starkers your too fussy an old fart... but we wouldnt have u any other way. I think the bowl will work if u leave enough space in the button to set ur sizing margins above.. or below it.

Main thing is your not going to feel accomplished in anyway until u start transitioning the mockup into a WB.... THEN your on ur way!

Rock on !

Quoth the Raven, "You got it!"

[quote who="Xiandi" reply="11" id="2270070"]For the taskbar button, I like the second one from the left. I think the bowl on it is a little too pale though. Maybe make it the same color as the More Programs Background on the start panel. Just a suggestion. It's looking realy good, Po!

Yes indeedy. Po'... don't listen to ^...he a skinner?  JK, v...

Question...why is there a plugin to shrink buttons in Win7?

It's for Vista to make the buttons look like windows7. 'Windows 7 taskbar Iconizer'

Lifehacker Article

Application Download

I've actually used it for quite a few months and like it. The only thing I don't care for is how it 'groups' similar windows automatically.

Yeah, it's all those years of inhaling noxious fumes.

I guess chronic watery eye syndrome has impaired my vision.

Thanx Po for the links. Funny how each OS wants to mimic the next one coming up. XP wants to be Vista now Vista wants to be Win7. What'll it be next? 7 emulates 8 which emulates 9 which emulates 10 and they all wish they could emulate Curried Cabbage WB which is one of a kind. Take note MicroSoft......

I wonder if anyone from MS reads these posts?

When serving it up to them bigitime I've often wondered if any bankers read our posts.

Well I have to wonder, don't I... given the general tone of those posts, it not likely any would ever answer, right!

Both would probably regard them as little more than rhetorical rambling. They should only know the half of it. I'm hoping this blind gets wide use because if enough see it and get curious they just might indulge themselves and learn how it came about. Wishful thinking I know but one can only hope. Word of mouth and all that.

Besides bankers can't read. They can only count.

The general tone is more like a mood that stretches from coast to coast, border to border, across one ocean and another and hits more than one home.

We need a louder voice. Very much like an earth shattering, mountain rumbling 10.357 on the richter scale type starkerbark that's sure to make everyone without exception stand up and take notice.

LET 'ER RIP!!!!!

From the August 2009 issue of Astronomy Magazine page 69......Cosmic Curry,

Indian researchers will 'concoct'...FREEZE-DRIED...traditional cuisine to make their astronauts fell more...at home in space.

Freeze dried curried cabbage?!?! Will starkerbarks come in solid form?? As if the gaseous one isn't bad enough now we'll have the densest material known to human anatomologicallists!!! One hit could blast us all the way back to primordial ooze!! Not to mention how much it'll hurt on the way......out.

OMG!...

Will starkerbarks come in solid form??

Um, I hope not!  Solid or (worse) semi-solid, and I'd be bound to hear: "Do your own f**k**g laundry!!".... and I ain't figured out how to start the washing machine.

No thanks, I'll stick with the 100% gaseous variety.

It was an advertisement. But...the gaseous variety is I think bad enough too without adding solid matter ......uurp...to it.

(the stench...the stench...oohhh)
